We love vinyl at mango part 3

Posted by Dan Semkiw on 14th Jul 2016

In a world of fads, trends & hipsters vinyl is regaining its position as a sought after music medium. In 2016 vinyl sales are at a 28 year high with old school albums and their bumps & crackles addling to the character of a music collection. But as we said in part one of this blog series back in 2014, we’ve stayed true to our roots with vinyl being an integral part of the mango concept. Having recently celebrated our 15th birthday, and still in Hall Street Moonee Ponds, our selection of record collectors, music enthusiasts and dj’s alike pretty much all play records, still on original Technics SL1200MK2 turntables. Now part of the mango music family, L Dawg is just such a collector with an eclectic selection of rock, jazz, grooves & hip hop. Look out for his next mango set and stay tuned to the word on the street about the next big night when he mixes it up with Dan…
