Daniel Berger

style: electronic disco & minimal house

Daniel (aka D'Operator) brings his expertise of playing 'out' for close to 10 years, married to a real desire to always stay at the fore of electronic music trends, to Moonee Ponds; an area just on the edge of town but ready to receive his fresh musical wonderings.

He fell in love with electronic music in about 1981 when he heard early Hip-Hop and the Human League. Earlier experiences were also memorable (Dancing Queen and the discovery of disco in late the 70's), but none impressed upon him so much and so deeply as the electronic driven music in the early 80's. So he's been collecting the odd 12'' since then and a whole lot more over the last 15 years or so since the rave and subsequent club scenes exploded across the world.

And of course he has played in all the coolest bars and clubs in Melbourne including Revolver, Deep 11, the Palace, Loop, and Honkytonks. Trip-hop, house, electro, jazz, oddities, disco, funk, techno, experimental, and at last minimal, you may well hear. All wrapped up into an executable file that is 'accessible', 'fun' and 'interesting'.
