Glitch
style: punk funk to electro pop
Emma Glitch began playing tunes as means of show casing the Electro sounds she was collecting and began a night called Meccanoid in 2001 that went on to gather a solid following for over 8 years. Since becoming involved in music scene in Melbourne, and becoming a Dj in her own right, she has have held a number of long term residencies, namely at Revolver, Honky Tonks, Alia, Loop, the Lounge and Eurotrash and has played at many other established venues and music festivals.
Glitch has supported numerous International guests, for example Miss Kitten & the Hacker, Who Made Who, David Carretta, Anthony Rother, Alexander Robotnic, Snax/Captain Comatose and Bangkok Impact, to name a few.
Recently she is a regular guest at Bimbo Deluxe, Section 8, and the Order and the 'Art after Dark' nights at the National Gallery of Australia playing electronica and soundtrack style music for the contemporary exhibitions.
Glitch is interested in a number of music genres from punk funk to electro pop, space disco to minimal house, aiming for the music to be entertaining and diverse, while building an atmosphere and keeping people intrigued.
